And now on to Tuff Tony's review!
Music News Flash for June 5, 2011
After coming back from the edge of death, Carole Urban played with another great band, “The Fret Notz” at the Red Door in Watertown . The event was a fund raiser to help with some of Carole’s medical bills from her October 10, 2010 motorcycle accident.

Having suffered serious injuries that could have changed her music career Carole has made an almost complete recovery that has amazed many people and doctors.

To her friends and Urbanettes Carole’s performance tonight was just phenomenal and it was the same Carole we have all come to love and enjoy. She sang many of her old favorite tunes that brought many dancers to their feet. As thrilled as we were, it was also very apparent that this was a special milestone for her. We all knew that she was once again on a stage doing what she loves best, entertaining and playing her guitar for an audience.

The journey to this day was not an easy one. Because of her love for those who follow her and the prayers of those same people this night was made possible. I know that there were many people behind the scenes who also made this event happen for Carole. Diane, her best friend, and of course the Fret Notz band. Thank you to all that helped make this happen.

Keep Carole in your prayers as she works through her eyesight issues. It won’t be long before Carole will be again playing her regular gigs and making us feel good again about live music.
