Here's TUFF TONY"S Music News Flash reviews Nov 09 Another fun Saturday night at the Pit Stop in Devon listening to Carole Urban with her bass playing friend Dominic. Smaller crowd at the bar than usual but those present were treated to Carole's usual fine guitar playing and singing. Some Urbanetts were not present due to illness but this did not stop Carole and Dominic from giving four solid hours of great music. Some new songs along with the good old standbys. Peppermint Patti arrived after 10 to demonstrate her smooth dance floor moves. Urbanetts Joan and Candi also supplied some pretty interesting dance moves. Special guest appearence, Joyce from Wallingford. The Pit Stop has such a diverse crowd with music playing, darts flying and the clack of pool table balls all at the same time. If fiery food is not your choice then you would do well to order the Pit Stop's famous honey chicken wings.

What a wild night at the Pit Stop in Devon on Saturday night. Urban Legends was at its best. Lead singer, Carole Urban, hammered out her old tunes with a bunch of new sounds thrown in. Dominic, on bass and Steve on drums added to the excitement of the evening. Didn’t catch the name of the traveling bass player who filled in for Dominic while he chilled with a brewski.
One just cannot beat a live band. Urban Legends never disappoints their audience of followers. Saturday night was a two shirt event for the hard working band. Four hours of good live music that eventfully brought out some wild dancers.
Good turnout of the Carole Urban regular followers including, Joan, Candy, Sherry, Peppermint Patti, Judy and some of Carole’s old classmates. Surprise visit of some local bikers who added to the fun.
Don’t miss the next fun filled event at the Beachcomer in Milford on June 18th, 9-1 The Beachcomer is an interesting location with interesting people.
Carole Urban will be playing this event solo. Drop in and support live music in Connecticut . “Beer drinkin’ don’t do half the harm of love makin.” Alexander Pope.

Next stop for the Carole Urban Experience will be the day before Thanksgiving, November 25th at the watering hole on Hollister St, Stratford. All Carole's regulars know this place for its hot dogs. See you there. Tuff Tony
Once again Carole Urban gave one heck of a performance at the Pit Stop on Saturday night. One never knows what to expect at one of her gigs. This trip was a young man, Sean, on a hot key board to accompany Carole on her magical tour through her repertoire of favorite songs. Sean’s nimble fingers and smooth voice seemed to almost make his keyboard a third person. His talent was well recognized by those in attendance at this exciting Saturday night event.
And my friends, this is what makes her events so memorable. Many times she brings in a new talent or one of her regulars who entertains the usual crowd. In any case when one leaves a Carole Urban gig they have that good feeling that it was a night of enjoyable live music, All this for the price of a brewski.
In attendance where the Urbanetts, Joan, Candy, Carol, Noel, Sherrie, Joyce and this writer. All enjoyed a couple of late night orders of honey wings served up by our barmaid, Jessica. Once again it was a fun time at a local watering hole. Checkout Carole’s web page for the next exciting event.
What a fun time at the Pit Stop Saturday night. Three birthdays were celebrated, Dominic's, Candy and Mary's Too bad if you missed Joan's famous Hawaiian Wedding cake. Double surprise visit by Candy's son who didn't expect to bump into his Mom at the Pitstop. He had to be on his best behavior. Vicki, Ms Tambourine, made a short appearance. No one was able to assemble Dom's glo-stick hat but they sure had fun making other obscene forms that can't be described here, for obvious reasons As usual Carole and Dominic entertained with four hours of good music and solid laughs. No one ever knows what merriment will take place and who will be part of it. Carole and Dom played many old favorites and several new tunes. Dom was able to take a short beer break as an unknown bass player jumped in and rocked with Carole. By the end of the night one felt if they had just finished four free rides on the wildest roller coaster, exhilarated and satisfied. Support live band music. Staff reporter, Tuff Tony
June 09 There was also a good showing of the Urbanette regulars to cheer the band on. And of-course the bar food at the Pit Stop is most enjoyable, their special light chicken batter being amongst one of the best. A live band, good music, good food and the friendliness of a neighborhood bar makes for an enjoyable night.
Carole and Brian will next be at the Top Side in Milford, March 28, at 8 p.m. and again at their anchor bar, The Windmill in Stratford on April 3rd. at 9 p.m. Support your local live band.

Another great night of live band entertainment, this time at the famous Pit Stop on Route One in Milford. The Carole Urban Trio: Urban Legends rocked the Pit Stop. This band had almost everyone on the dance floor at one tune or another. A large crowd of friends and family enjoyed several hours of good music. Many new tunes that added to the celebrated atmosphere of the night. When this band puts their heart and soul into their music you know that you're going to have a fun time. The usual Urbanettes were present to lend vocal support.
I would be remiss if I failed to mention the hot and spicy wings served up by Jessica, your friendly barmaid. They also have a late night kitchen.
Regretably, this writer failed to report that Carole's gig on Friday the 5th was also Vicki's, Ms. Tambourine, birthday. After all her candles were lit no smoke detectors went off and no fire permit was needed. She has many years before her birthday becomes a fire hazard.
Watch this web page for a list of Carole Urbans' future gigs and remember her anchor location, the Windmill, every first Friday of the month.

May 09 Tuff Tony's GiG Review of Pitstop: What a great performance by Carole Urban and Domenic Zullo at the Pit Stop in the Devon section of Milford tonight, May 23. Even though the lead singer, Carole Urban, was not feeling well she nevertheless belted out to her admirers. As a professional, Carole knew that the show must go on and it sure did, right up to the last song. Carole and bass player, Domenic had the audience screaming out requests. It was a night of good live entertainment with the Urbanetts and Peppermint Patti in attendance. As always the Pit Stop chicken tenders were the best, served up by an attentive staff. Don't miss this band when they make their next stop at the Beachcomber on May 29th in Milford. Staff reporter, Tony
Once again Carole Urban and Brian wowed them at the Pit Stop in Milford last night. These two accomplished entertainers hammered out many jumping tunes that had the Pit Stop crowd whistling for more. One could almost see the energy flowing between Carole and Brian, this same energy that makes their performance one to be remembered. Their rendition of "Saturday, Saturday" rocked the house followed by a slower ,"Sunday Morning."which allowed everyone to catch their breath. There are many good live bands that one could watch and listen to but if you want to feel like part of the performance this is the duo to see. They will not disappoint you.
