Review   

  What a rockin night at the Beachcomer Friday night!  The Carole Urban Duo, with a first time guest bass player, rocked the Melba Street night spot.  It was a slow rocky start, both muscians searching for that smoothness key. Finally after about the second song both melted together in harmony like two pats of butter on the same griddle.  Once each felt comfortable the crowd had a solid night of good music. As usual the Urbanettes were on hand to either tap a foot on the floor or rock the dance floor. A surprise visit by dancer, Peppermint Patti.

This writer is not able to drive because of recent surgery so he took other means of transportation, which meant he did not have to monitor his imbibing of alcohol and today that devil dances in his head, but it was well worth the effort.  Good music and entertainment. Try not to miss her next gig.
